Coffee break with Christina Milian, mother of 3, actress, singer and entrepreneur

What is your beauty routine in the morning and in the evening?

I'm pretty straightforward but depending on the weather it really makes a difference to what I use. I use Tula care for everything. I never forget my neck and hydrate my ears / earlobes. I never hear people mention this, but I don't want to have floppy ears when I'm older, neck and so on. Daily I use serum most of the time because I like it. have hydrated and glowing skin. Of course, I apply my TULA Lip SOS care balm. Rain or sun, it keeps my lips smooth and protected.

How do you find time to take care of yourself?

Well, it's not easy to find but I feel like I'm getting away from it all when I go for a facial or a massage or even a lymphatic drainage it makes me feel good. It might sound trivial yes, but these little things make me feel good, no one else is there and I can just relax and pamper myself. I like to go to Lutetia in Paris or to maintain my eyelashes at SeeMy Cosmetics.

How important is sleep to you?

Sleep is something that I may have taken for granted and appreciate more and more. When I was in Abu Dhabi for work I left the kids at home with Dad - I worked from 8 a.m. until around 10 or 11 p.m., I had to wake up at 6:45 a.m. to get dressed and with the Jetlag i really felt like it showed on my face ... my skin was weird and i don't know if it was also because i was far from the kids and i missed them but i didn't feel normal. I think drinking lots of water and sleeping is very important and helps me in these times.

Finding your body after a baby is very difficult. What advice can you give our community to get in shape? Are you on a special diet?

Getting back into shape is really all about consistency. I am willing to get up and stay motivated and try not to eat all the time. Of course, there are a lot of delicious, fun snacks for kids, so you have to tell yourself not to eat them. But I'm not perfect when it comes to it, so I guess exercising really helps. I try to train about three times a week and do things that I love. I love to run on the treadmill for 30 minutes and try to go about 3 miles in that 30 minutes. I find this to be the best way to stay in shape and have a clear mind. Once I start I try to make sure that I don't stop training. It's easy to go off the rails and I LOVE TO EAT! My balance is therefore to work. I just got a coach for the first time, never liked coaches before because I don't like being told what to do but to be honest I'm happy I made that decision because it keeps me responsible for going to the gym. And if I pay someone it means I want to see results so I am serious and thorough otherwise I am wasting money!

Did you always know you wanted a big family?

No, I didn't know I wanted to have a big family to be honest. I was happy with a child and then I met Matt and was fine and ready again. I never imagined I would be a mom to three like my mom is but I'm so happy to do it. Luckily my daughter Violet at 11 she helps me a lot and my two sons get along really well, I think it works perfectly.

What do you like the most in Paris?

There is so much to do and I love the fact that everywhere you look it's a part of history, that there is always something to learn. I like that there is a lot of park so I can take the kids there and there are a lot of activities for them. I like to be on foot and walk everywhere so it's really convenient for me because I don't have a car and I don't really care about having one so I can just walk everywhere or take the train.

What do you love most about Los Angeles?

Well what I love most about LA is that my family is there so I really love being close to my family. My sisters, my mom and my nieces and nephews, they can all go out with my kids. The weather is amazing there and I love to hike. We have excellent restaurants in Los Angeles especially sushi and Mexican food.
